Every child is unique, with their own unique needs. Unfortunately, the school system is not always set up to meet the needs of every child. Elective Home Education (EHE) can be an excellent option for families who wish to do learning differently. EHE can also be quite a daunting prospect, which is where Anderson Tutoring come in. We offer a range of support services for pupils who are home educated at a primary level. Please see below for services offered.

1:1 tutoring - £12 per 30 mins or £22 per hour (Additional siblings £8)

For many who choose to home educate, it can be important to continue some form of structure linked to phonics, reading, writing and maths. We are able to offer targeted support in these key areas on a 1:1 basis. This will include the following:
A session planned specifically to the needs of the child
In the moment feedback
Optional homework if desired
Access to a Google Classroom online, where all resources will be available, as well as the ability to discuss the content with Anderson Tutoring and ask any questions
Please note, this price is available for home educating families only. Sessions are available between 9am and 4pm on a Thursday and Friday during term time only.
Onling Group sessions - £3 per session
Onling Group sessions - £3 per session
This is a more affordable approach to meet the needs of all budgets. Group sizes are limited to 15. Lessons are pre-planned around a particular subject focus and run for 10 weeks. There is no expectations for pupils to participate directly or to have their camera turned on, so this may be a good option for some. Sessions run on a Wednesday between 9am and 4pm.

You may decide you want extra tuition for your child, but that financial constraints make this difficult. At Anderson Tutoring, we offer a selection of lower cost, pre-recorded sessions. Lessons will include the following:
